Cream for dry hands 2

Creams according to their effect on dry skin
A nourishing dry hand cream replenishes the skin with substances that it loses with age. It should contain ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin A.
A moisturiser for dry hands replenishes the skin's missing water, even to the deeper layers. Water is best bound by glycerol, urea or lanolin.
A regenerating cream for dry hands provides healing to the skin and reduces evaporation of water from the skin. The composition should not lack vegetable oil or extract.
A barrier cream for dry hands should contain a moisturizing ingredient and a film that protects the skin from irritants that damage it.

Creams according to dry skin type
Naturally dry skin due to ageing will benefit from creams containing ceramides. Ceramides are part of the skin cells. They diminish with age, resulting in poor skin barrier renewal, dryness and fragility.
Dry skin needs to be moisturised during the day due to environmental influences (frost, wind, frequent washing, disinfection, dusty environment, contact with chemicals such as cleaning products, fertilizers, etc.) and regenerate at night. As a day cream for dry hands, choose a cream with glycerol or a barrier cream. These creams retain water in the skin, while the barrier cream also protects it. At night, choose oilier creams with oils such as almond, sea buckthorn, jojoba, or healing creams with a petroleum jelly base such as calendula, grapefruit, aloe.
Dry skin due to disease (eczema, diabetes, liver and kidney disease) is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as itching and inflammation. It is a good idea to consult a doctor on how to treat the skin. It is an interconnected system, where diet, hormonal fluctuations, psychological state, medications used, prescribed therapies and others also affect the skin.
