    In the Workshop

    Occupational dermatitis

Many materials associated with home maintenance (concrete and masonry products, adhesives, cement mixtures, tars, thinners, paints, oils, lubricants, petroleum products, coolants, cleaners, abrasives, etc.) have an adverse effect on the skin. They interfere with its natural acidity, dry it and make it sticky. The damaged skin barrier begins to defend itself with inflammation. The skin is dry and red; cracks and scales form on it. Over time, painful cracks can form and allergies can develop. Working with chemicals such as acids and alkalis can also cause acid burns.

Liquid gloves are the solution for situations where skin needs to be protected without restricting the sense of touch, or where rubber gloves cause adverse reactions on the skin. Dermaguard - liquid gloves creates a protective shield on the skin and acts as a flexible invisible pair of gloves and as preventive protection. Dermaguard can also be used on the face and other vulnerable areas of the skin. The cream can be used to soothe even the first signs of dermatitis. If the disease is developed and active, it is important to treat the skin first and start using the cream only when the skin is healed. This will prevent the problem from recurring.
Successfully tested by EastGate laboratories in England.

When and How to Use Dermaguard

Liquid gloves are applied before work. They do not replace work gloves, but help protect the skin from allergen or chemical penetration. They provide emergency protection* against alkalis and acids. Liquid gloves are effective for 4-6 hours and do not wash off during normal washing. They do not make the skin greasy, but moisturise it.

    * time of several minutes needed to locate running water or neutraliser chemical
